Mustang. A trail guide passed Thorangla on the Round Annapurna Charkiy Pathway from Manang and reached Mustang.
27-year-old Lakchandra Kulung of Mahakulung Rural Municipality-3, Solukhumbu, died on Wednesday night while undergoing treatment at the provincial hospital in Mustang, Jomsom, District Police Office Information Officer and Police Inspector Ishwar Mahat informed.
The trail guide Kulung Himalayan Hub Adventure Pvt Ltd took female tourists from France and reached Thorangla Pass via Manang and arrived at Waragung Muktikshetra-1 Muktinath in Mustang on Wednesday night. According to information officer Mahat, Kulung went to take a bath in a hotel in Muktinath and did not come out for a long time. The manager of the hotel informed the area police office Muktinath.
Pathfinder Kulung was found unconscious in the “bathroom”. He was immediately admitted to Jomsom Provincial Hospital for treatment. The police said that further investigation is going on regarding the incident.
