Pyuthan A one-and-a-half-year-old boy died after drowning in water kept in a bucket in Gaumukhi Rural Municipality-7, Narikot, Pyuthan.
According to Narahari Adhikari, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office Pyuthan, Krish Thapa, son of local Shivlal Thapa, died after drowning in bucket water at his home on Thursday morning.
The drowned child was brought to District Hospital, Bijuwar for treatment. During the examination at the hospital, the doctor declared him dead.
According to the police, the dead child’s body has been kept in the hospital’s mortuary for post-mortem.
