Dhangadhi. A bus accident has occurred in Bajura. According to the police, an accident took place this morning near Ritha Bazar of Budhiganga Municipality-10, bus number 02 001 B 1355 of Pawandoot Transport.
24 people on the bus were injured in the accident. Provincial Traffic Police Office Chief Superintendent of Police (SP) Navraj Karki said that 24 people were injured in the accident.
23 of them have been taken to District Hospital Bajura for treatment and one person has been taken to Byalpata Hospital in Acham. Karki said there were 35 people on the bus.
The police said that the bus brake failed and the accident happened suddenly. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
