Kathmandu. Customs evasion and illegal entry into Kathmandu including three cars, various goods and five vehicles have been seized.
The Tribhuvan Airport Customs Office has released the details of the goods and vehicles seized from the Police Circle and the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office.
According to the customs department, 90 kg of black pepper has been seized from Jagati police circle in Bhaktapur. Similarly, the department said that various items including Dana copy were recovered from police circle Thankot.
According to the department, one Skoda car has been recovered from Kuleshwar, one Brija car from Sohrakhute and one Hyundai car from Balkumari. The department said that a total of five vehicles including these cars were recovered from different places.
In the published details, the date, quantity and location of seized goods and vehicles are also mentioned.
The Customs Department has stated that necessary action will be taken against the seized goods and vehicles as per the Customs Act, 2064.
