Kathmandu. American rapper Nicki Minaj is rumored to be the press secretary of the White House.
After the name of Minaj, a supporter of American President Donald Trump, was discussed as a possible press secretary, the American media and social media began to debate about it. However, no formal announcement has been made to appoint him to that position.
Minaj recently traveled with Trump on Air Force One to an event in Port Huron, Michigan. During the trip, a video of him giving a fake interview in the style of a press secretary at a press conference while answering questions about Trump’s administration and achievements was released.
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung shared the video on social network X and wrote, ‘I think we have found a new White House Press Secretary!’ His comment further fueled the discussion that Minaj could become the Press Secretary.
Trump also praised Minaj at a public event. Minaj has been calling herself Trump’s ‘number one fan’. She supported Trump’s financial plan for the young generation and announced that she would invest in it.
The post of White House press secretary has been changing in a short period of time. Earlier, Katie Zakaria resigned within five days in October, while Caroline Levitt resigned in August. After that, Minaj’s name came into discussion for the position.
