Janakpurdham. A husband and wife were found dead in Mathileshwar, Mithila Bihari Municipality-3 of Dhanusa.
30-year-old Reena Devi Yadav, who lives in Maitighar, has a sharp wound on her neck. The police suspect that he may have been murdered. Her husband, 35-year-old Umesh Yadav, was found dead this morning hanging from a tree about one kilometer away from the house, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Khanal, spokesperson of District Police Office Dhanusha.
Umesh, a resident of Mithila Bihari-4 Bharatpur, returned home from foreign employment only a few days ago. He had reached his in-laws only the day before the incident. The deceased couple has a four-year-old son. Deputy Superintendent of Police Khanal said that one of the child’s thighs was injured by a sharp weapon. Deputy Superintendent of Police Khanal said that the nature of the incident was suspicious. “The police are investigating after reaching the scene,” he said.
The police said that they are investigating the cause of the incident and the circumstances of the death.
