Kathmandu. During the start of Nepal Premier League (NPL), a problem has been noticed in the management of foreign players. Pakistani cricketer Sahibzada Farhan, who came to Nepal to play for Karnali Yaks, will return to Pakistan after being selected for the national team. According to Karnali Yaks, the Pakistan Cricket Board has called him up for the One Day International (ODI) series against Sri Lanka.

According to Karnali Yaks director Ghrendra Ghimire, Farhan is likely to return to the NPL after the national team’s match on October 31. Karnali has prepared to bring in another player for the period of his absence.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has asked for an additional 25,000 US dollars to issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the Pakistani players who came to Nepal to play in the NPL, according to Karnali Yax. Director Ghimire expressed his displeasure saying that after the players came to Nepal with NOC, they asked for more money.

Karnali was also discussing the matter of allowing the players to participate in the tournament by paying more money. However, after Farhan was called to play in the Pakistan national team, he had to return home. Ghimire said he is expected to rejoin the Karnali team after the match ends on October 31.
