Gandaki Rashmi Pun, a 25-year-old resident of Bardghat Municipality of Nawalparasi, who fell ill during a walk to Kori Lake in Madi Rural Municipality-1 of Kaski, was rescued and brought to the hospital by helicopter.
District Police Office, Kaski Deputy Superintendent of Police Birendra Kumar Paswan informed that he was brought to Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences by a Simric Air helicopter after suddenly falling ill this morning while walking.
Pun is currently being treated and his health condition is moderate, he said. Tourists who go for trekking in the high mountain areas of this region, including Kori, have a problem of getting lakes.
