Kathmandu. Siddharth Bank Nepal Premier League (NPL) has been affected due to continuous rain. Today’s first match between Lumbini Lions and Chitwan Rhinos has been canceled after the rain waterlogged the ground. Both teams shared one point each.
The second match also did not start at the scheduled time. Although the frozen water on the ground was removed with the help of a machine, the match was delayed as the ground was not dry enough for the operation of the game.
In the second match, Biratnagar Kings and Sudurpaschim Royals will compete. As the game gets delayed, there is a possibility of playing with reduced overs. Supporters of both the teams have already reached the ground and the players have also been present at the Trivi Cricket ground. The organizers and umpires have inspected the ground.
