Kathmandu. BP Highway has been blocked due to continuous rain.
In Roshi Rural Municipality-9 Pinthali of Kavrepalanchok, the road was completely blocked in both directions due to landslides in Roshi Rural Municipality-8 Gimdibesi after stones from Khare river and soil were piled up on the road.
Santosh Shrestha, Chief Police Inspector of District Traffic Police Office, Kavrepalanchok, said that besides the road being blocked, the risk of landslides and landslides remains. He informed that landslides have also occurred at various places on the Araniko highway.
After the highway was blocked, the vehicles going from Kathmandu side were held at various places in Kavre. The police has requested not to travel until the official information about the opening of the road is received and even in urgent cases, travel only after getting information about the latest condition of the road.
