Dadeldhura. The Deuba group of Nepali Congress has started a parallel district convention in Dadeldhura, the home district of former chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba.
The group is going to hold regional and eighth district sessions under the 15th convention on Saturday. Convention representatives will be elected along with the new leadership of the district from the convention.
After the then president of Congress Dadeldhura, Bhim Bahadur Saud, participated in the convention organized by the central working committee selected from the special convention, the Deuba group made district vice president Dilliraj Joshi the coordinator of the convention.
Before the convention, the Deuba group took out a rally from Dadeldhura bus park to the assembly hall of the builders’ association. After that, the process of convention was started in the hall.
This group started the ward session from last October 15th. At the same time, the schedule of district convention on 15th October was announced.
