Kathmandu. Officials and members of the Central Working Committee elected by the 15th Congress of Nepali Congress have taken the oath of office and secrecy.
Chairman Gagan Kumar Thapa administered the oath to the newly elected officials and members at the party office Sanepa on Thursday. Certificates have also been distributed to them after taking the oath.
Chairman Thapa had already taken the oath of office and secrecy on October 31st, the day of Phoolpati of Dasain.
The final results of the 15th Congress held in Kathmandu from October 18th to 23rd were announced on October 30th. Gagan Thapa was elected as the president of the convention.
Similarly, Vishwaprakash Sharma as the senior vice-chairman, Dr. as the open vice-chairman. Chandrakant Bhandari and Engineer Madhu Acharya, Pushpa Bhusal was elected as women vice-chairman and Vinod Chaudhary was elected as inclusive vice-chairman.
Pradeep Poudel, Udayashamsher Jabara and Dr. Dila Sangraula (Pant) was elected.
