Kathmandu. A separate committee has been formed for the investigation of the controversial Inam Sapkota after the relationship of high-ranking people and people from different fields started to be seen.
The committee has been formed under the leadership of Superintendent of Police (SP) Narahari Regmi working in Kathmandu Valley Police Office Ranipokhari. It is said that the team led by SP Regmi is also assisting and guiding the investigation team of the district police complex.
It is said that during the investigation of Sapkota, who was arrested after the information that he had a relationship with former Chief Justice Cholendrashamsher Jabara and was being set up in the court, details about his relationship with various high-ranking people started to emerge.
According to the information received, Sapkota’s relationship with the Chief Justice, judges, high officials of the police and armed police, businessmen, employees and parliamentarians has come under investigation. During the forensic examination of Sapkota’s mobile phone, it is said that the details of his relationship with various high-ranking persons have been revealed.
Sapkota, who was arrested at the Tribhuvan International Airport while on his way to Delhi, was initially investigated for the crime of indecent behavior. Now he is being investigated for money laundering.
