Kathmandu. The thrill of the bat and the ball is going on in the cricket field, now the silver ball is going to shine in the hands of the best performing players.
In the third edition of Nepal Premier League 9NPL0, Extreme Energy Drink has started giving silver balls to the best players through the ‘Extreme Man of the Match’ award to increase the excitement of cricket.
In the third edition of the eight-team NPL, Extreme has partnered with seven teams for sponsorship. The best players of those seven teams will be awarded a silver ball under ‘Extreme Man of the Match’. The interesting aspect of this award is that when there is a competition between two teams sponsored by Xtreme, not only the players of the winning team, but one player from both teams who perform best will be awarded with a silver ball.
The silver ball has started its journey from the first game of NPL. Sher Mall, who performed well in the competition between Sudurpaschim Royals and Lumbini Lions, became the first player to receive the silver ball under ‘Extreme Man of the Match’.
It is expected that this initiative of Xtreme will increase the excitement of the NPL by honoring the best performance of the players and instilling more enthusiasm and competitive spirit in them. In addition, the company has expressed the belief that it will give more energy to the growing attraction towards Nepali cricket and the enthusiasm of the supporters. Now, along with the goal of winning the competition in the NPL field, the opportunity to add their name to the silver ball through excellent performance has become another attraction for the players.
