Kathmandu. Gajendra Bardeva and Sharad Kumar Rai are going to compete in skating at the Asian Games to be held in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan. Nepal Skating and Skate Boarding Association announced on Thursday that Gajendra and Sharad have been selected for the competition to be held in September.

According to the association, they have been selected for the competition based on their excellent performance in various national and international competitions.

In a program held at Hotel Tapas in Battisputli, Kathmandu on Thursday, the selection of players was announced in the presence of Association President Achyut Khanal, Vice President Jagrut Pahadi, General Secretary Satya Thapa, Bagmati Province Chief Vikas Lama, Chief Skating Coach Dilipraj Baral.

In the program, the head coach Baral stressed that special priority should be given to game strategy, discipline and confidence to achieve success in the competition in Japan.
