Kathmandu. CPN-UML vice-president and former deputy prime minister Bishnu Paudel, who was arrested in connection with the money laundering investigation, has been given another 6-day extension.

On Thursday, the joint bench of special court members Judge Hemant Rawal, Dilliratna Shrestha and Umesh Koirala extended Paudel’s deadline by six days for the third time. Paudail was previously extended 7 days on the 9th and 3 days on the 15th.

On Tuesday, the joint bench of Justices Tek Prasad Dhungana and Meghraj Pokharel of the Supreme Court, while hearing the writ of arrest filed by Paudel’s wife, ordered the dismissal of the money laundering case.
