Panchthar 60 houses in the same ward of Hilihang Rural Municipality of Panchthar are at risk due to landslides along with incessant rain. After heavy rains on June 4 and 5, the settlement of Hilihang-5 Subhang is at risk of landslides.

The families of Durgamani Khudang, Sharnkumar Kerung, Gajveer Khudang and Hemkumar Padalung of Malbase tol have been displaced after the house was destroyed by the landslide. Ward president Birkh Bahadur Suhang informed that relief was distributed to them by arranging accommodation elsewhere. Similarly, the families of Nagendra Ojha, Gopal Gajmer, Kiran Khudang and Sushma Mabo have also been displaced due to the landslide.

Due to the landslide, the Mridanga waterfall school is also at risk. All roads in this ward have been damaged due to flood and landslide. Water supply plans have also been blocked. 6 irrigation schemes and 5 drinking water schemes have been blocked due to damage to springs. Samar Bahadur Adhikari, chairman of the rural municipality, said that the Hilihang rural municipality has set a program for the repair and reconstruction of the structures damaged by the disaster in the policy and program of the next financial year 2083/84.

In the same way, when flood and landslide damaged the cardamom cultivation, the farmers were killed. Ward president Suhang said that the details of damage to crops and arable land are being collected.
