The ministry has said that it has prioritized the operation of accessible pharmacies with the aim of reducing the treatment costs of patients by providing quality medicines at subsidized rates in government hospitals.

Minister Mehta directed to ensure that the patients who come to the government hospital can get the necessary medicines easily and at a cheap price from the hospital. . According to the same directive, the service has also started at the trauma center and Veer Hospital, the ministry said.

According to the ministry, now the clients coming for treatment in these hospitals will be able to easily get the necessary medicines at a discounted price compared to the market. According to the government reform agenda, the ministry has instructed government hospitals across the country to start accessible pharmacies.
