Dhankuta. In Dhankuta Municipality-6 Pangsing, the wife was seriously injured when her husband hit her with a machete.
According to District Police Office Dhankuta Police Inspector Pandav Rajvanshi, the local Dumbar Karki assaulted wife Tara Karki.
Ward president Milan Kumar Khadgi informed that the little finger of Tara’s left hand was severed from the blow and her head and back were seriously injured. He was taken to the District Hospital Dhankuta for treatment and after treatment was not possible there, he was taken to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for further treatment.
According to Ward President Khadgi, Dumbar was not in contact with his family for about 13 years. Only a few days ago, the family found him and brought him home. It is said that he has been threatening to kill his wife ever since he returned home.
Even before this, Dumbar used to drink heavily and threatened his wife.
District Police Office Dhankuta has informed that they are looking for Dumbar, who is absconding after hitting his wife.
