He said that 207 culverts and five suspension bridges have been constructed to connect all the wards of the city with the center. For urban beautification and sanitation, 99 km of sewage construction and a systematic sanitary landfill site have been brought into operation. The risk of flood and erosion has been reduced by constructing an embankment in an area of ​​20.9 km to control the river.

Self-reliance in drinking water and irrigation with the aim of providing clean drinking water to the city dwellers, 108 wells and 77 deep borings have been constructed, and access to clean drinking water has been ensured in 92 percent of the houses, said Mayor Chaudhary. 43 artificial reservoirs have been constructed targeting the agricultural sector. According to him, irrigation facilities have been extended to 738 hectares of land. In the energy sector, 87 km of transmission lines have been extended and seven solar power plants have been installed.

According to Mayor Chaudhary, 27 school buildings and 39 new classrooms have been added in the education, health and social security education sector, while information technology laboratories have been established in most of the public schools. Regarding health, 28 buildings of health institutions have been constructed. In the field of social security, more than Rs 635.8 million social security allowance has been distributed to 17 thousand 374 beneficiaries through the bank.

Ghorahi has so far created 138 local laws and made the governance system lawful. Mayor Chaudhary said that by implementing the electronic governance system such as online incident registration, online citizenship recommendation and revenue collection from the ward level, service delivery has been made faster and more transparent. To protect the environment, 1,300 induction stoves and 450 improved stoves have been distributed and support has also been given to the smoke-free kitchen campaign.
