Janakpurdham. A 7-year-old boy missing from Dhanusha for 10 days has been found dead.
The body of Saket Jha, the 7-year-old son of Ajay Jha of Nagarine Municipality-7 Devdiha, was found in a paddy field about two and a half kilometers north of the house.
According to DSP Omprakash Khanal, Dhanusha police spokesperson, the body of the child was found in the paddy fields some time ago. He said that the police reached the spot and started investigation.
Saket had left home on November 4 last, the Tika day of Dashain. After that, the family members and the villagers were worried after he was out of touch.
After the disappearance of the child, the police along with the family intensified the search. Saket was not found even after searching nearby villages, ponds and bush areas.
The police suspect that the child may have been murdered. DSP Khanal has said that further investigation is going on regarding the incident.
