Kathmandu. Due to the effect of the low pressure area which is the remnant of Cyclone Arnab, the rain and snowfall in different parts of the country will decrease gradually in the afternoon and the weather will improve.
According to the Water and Weather Forecasting Division, as the low pressure area is close to western Nepal, moderate rain and snowfall are occurring in many places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces and some places of Koshi and Sudurpaschim provinces. Light rain is also falling in some places of Madhes province.
Due to the impact of the weather system, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning and light to moderate snowfall in the highlands and Himalayan areas till the afternoon. Some time ago, the department issued a special weather bulletin and gave this information.
