Kathmandu. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Manoj Kumar Sharma, has directed that a dedicated bench (dedicated bench) be formed in the district court to look into cooperative cases.

On January 11, 2082, a directive was issued by the Supreme Court to ensure justice for the victims of the cooperative sector and to establish and implement a dedicated bench in the district courts as needed to dispose of cases related to cooperative crimes.

Acting on the same order, Chief Justice Sharma has decided to organize a dedicated bench in the district where there are more than 100 cases related to cooperatives on October 20, Supreme Court spokesperson Ashok Kumar Chhetri informed. The Chief Justice’s decision was made public on Tuesday.

According to the decision of Chief Justice Sharma, it has been asked to form a dedicated bench in the district court where there are more than 100 cases related to cooperatives and to keep the cases related to cooperatives in other district courts in a separate group and hear them with priority.

In the decision made by the Chief Justice Sharma, it is said, ‘to organize a dedicated bench in the district courts where the number of cases related to cooperatives is more than 100 and arrange to hear them and to make a separate group of cases in other district courts where the number of cases related to cooperatives is less than that, to complete the task of delivering the parts as soon as possible and to give priority to the petitioners and manage them in such a way that they can be heard quickly.’

In the study report submitted by the working group formed by the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration, it is mentioned that if there is a dedicated bench to hear cases related to cooperative offenses in the district courts, the cooperative victims will get justice quickly and easily.

When this decision is implemented, it is expected that the delay in hearing cases related to cooperative fraud and other cooperative crimes will end and the process of getting justice to the victims will be speeded up.
