Humla. Hark Sampang, Chairman of Labor Culture Party and Member of Parliament, said that the citizens of remote areas should have equal access to services.

He participated in the program organized in Adanchuli and Sarkegad Rural Municipality. In this regard, he said, “Due to the uneven distribution of services and facilities provided by the state, basic services and facilities such as education, health, and transportation are concentrated in cities. Due to this, the number of citizens living in rural areas is decreasing.” He said that if necessary services are provided to citizens in all areas according to time, people can live anywhere.

On that occasion, he also promised to end the compulsion to cross the river from Tuin. It is said that MP Sampang’s visit here is connected with the construction of a suspension bridge over the Karnali River in Khadikhet located in Sarkegad Rural Municipality-2. He promised to build a suspension bridge after the issue of local citizens being forced to cross the river with the help of Tuin at that place was publicized in the media and social networks.

The process of proceeding with the work of an NGO called Kaduri for the construction of a suspension bridge at that place has already been decided. In such a situation, the real condition of the bridge construction, the time when the work will start and when the compulsion of the locals to cross the river from Tuin will end is in the center of interest.

Due to the lack of roads, bridges and basic services in the remote Himalayan district of Humla, citizens have been facing various problems for years.
