Kathmandu. The Supreme Court has given an interim order to the Gandaki state government not to take any decisions or actions on matters of long-term importance.
The bench of Judge Srikant Paudel gave this order until the final decision of the writ is taken on Wednesday. In the writ filed by Lil Bahadur Thapa, it has been claimed that according to Article 188(2) of the Constitution, the provision that the Chief Minister should take a vote of confidence within 30 days has not been implemented.
The letter given to the state chief about the exit of UML from the government has also been submitted in the writ. The Supreme Court ordered the opposition to submit a written reply by November 11 and gave priority to the writ.
