Seoul. North Korea has unveiled a drone based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology and a 600mm ‘Sniper’ multi-launch rocket system for the first time. Leader Kim Jong Un has directed to achieve absolute superiority in drone technology.

According to North Korea’s state news agency KCNA, a military exhibition held on Thursday in the presence of Kim featured suicide drones, cruise missiles and multi-purpose unmanned aerial vehicles. North Korea claims that those weapons hit the target of the island with 100% accuracy.

During the exhibition, photos of South Korean military posts and American M1 Abrams tanks being attacked by 600 mm rockets and drones have been released.

Kim said that as a nuclear-armed nation, North Korea should accelerate the development of artificial intelligence and drone technology along with the modernization of conventional weapons.

At the same time, the South Korean military has reported that it has detected about 10 short-range ballistic missiles that were fired from North Korea’s Wonsan region towards the East Sea. The missile had a range of about 250 km. This is North Korea’s 17th missile test this year.
