Kathmandu. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office under the Prime Minister’s Office has blacklisted various construction companies. The office issued a notification today and informed that 6 construction companies have been blacklisted as per written notices from various agencies.
It is mentioned in the notice that the construction company that does not complete the assigned work on time will be blacklisted in accordance with sub-section (1) of section 63 of the Public Procurement Act, 2063.
Those construction companies that have been blacklisted for 1 to 3 years will no longer be allowed to participate in any procurement process during this period.
