Kiev. At least 14 people were killed when a Russian drone struck the main railway station in the central Ukrainian city of Dnipro. As people wait to board trains, Russia strikes with jet-powered drones.

According to Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk region, 14 people were killed and at least 14 others, including an 11-year-old child, were injured in the attack.

According to Ukraine’s state railway operator Ukrzaliznytsia, a passenger train heading to the southern city of Zaporizhzhia was stopped at the platform in Dnipro when the drone attack occurred.

The Russian military has not yet publicly commented on the matter. Russia has repeatedly targeted Ukraine’s vast railway network. But he claimed that the common people were not deliberately targeted.

According to Oleksandr Pertsovsky, head of the railway operator’s organization, a high security alert was declared in Dnipro before Thursday’s attack. He said, “Unfortunately, a large number of people were present on the platform even when the drone fell.”
