Kathmandu. The armed police have arrested a woman and a man from Kathmandu on charges of dealing in brown sugar. Last night, the Armed Police Force arrested them from Vishram Guesthouse located in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32.
The team of APF Intelligence Bureau reached on the basis of a special information and arrested 42-year-old Sundar Rai and 42-year-old Raveena Rai of Phalelung-5 in Panchthar from room number 6 of Vishram Guesthouse.
DSP Shailendra Thapa, Co-Spokesperson of the Armed Police Force informed that they were arrested while they were selling brown sugar.
Thapa said that the seized brown sugar, 2 mobile phones and Rs 4500 in cash have been handed over to the relevant authorities for necessary investigation.
