Udaipur. Pedestrian dies after being hit by a scooter in Udaipur. A pedestrian died when a scooter number 3-02-012 P 4822, coming from Inar Chowk towards Pipal Chowk, hit Triyuga Municipality-11 Sangam Toll around 9:00 last night.
The deceased is Ram Bahadur Karki, 52 years old. Karki, who was seriously injured in the collision, was taken to District Hospital, Udaipur for immediate treatment. The police said that he died at 9:30 pm during the treatment.
The body of the deceased has been kept in the mortuary of the same hospital for post-mortem. The scooter driver involved in the accident, Dilip KC, 23 years old, resident of Triyuga Municipality-11 Dhimki, has been arrested and further investigation is being conducted, police said.
